PTL Originated in 1977 as the Inorganic and Precious Metals division of Princeton Testing Laboratory, with Ronald McCloskey as manager. Changes at the corporate level in August 1987 resulted in PTL becoming a separate corporation which Ronald McCloskey purchased in April of 1988. The analysis for precious metals has always been an important part of our business. The variety of materials we handle is virtually limitless, including ores, jewelry, film, solder, anode slimes, dental alloys, electronic scrap, catalysts and a host of others. In 1988 to meet increasing customer demand, PTL Testing added a Non -Destructive Testing Division.
